Forged of Nature

Forged of Nature is a Collaboration between BlckBts and Ellen Durkan of Iron Maiden Forge. The culminating Performance Runway Show was first showcased at the Delaware Contemporary on Sept 29, 2018. We used 16 models for this show ranging from ages 14-71. The hard and soft materials we each used referenced women's femininity and strength creating an empowering experience for the models and audience. 

For this Collection I created classic styles and once of a kind pieces. I used black silk organza with black and red merino wool as well as red and black sculpted tulle. The red wool was used in a red vein pattern selectively throughout the pieces. The collection is available in my webshop, by custom request, and at Toile Atelier and Joan Shepp in Philadelphia.
